Please note that as of March 1, 2013 the minimum fine assessed for operators in violation of our rules and regulations will be $2,500.00.

The online Rulebook has been updated to include all rule changes through the end of 2011.

The Following Rules changed in 2011: Rule 6 and Rule 16.


- As of April 1, 2010, the Mississippi State Oil and Gas Board now has a new Web Site featuring a map of the State of Mississippi showing the location of wells. All Well Data can be obtained from this new site. The current site will be maintained for information purposes only.
